- A 31 year Veteran Firefighter - EMT. Worked with the National Park Service, US Bureau of Mines, MSHA, Outward Bound Instructor, Locke Fire Dept. and Landis, Fire Dept. Received the NC Advanced Professional Firefighter Certification in March 2007. Major Fire Service interests include Rescue, Rope Rescue, High Angle, and Mountain Rescue. I have just retired from being a full time High School Science Teacher. I am a Geologist by Education and I love to travel. I am the Director of a NonProfit Educational Organization-American Odyssey. Wouldn't it be wonderful to help other people who are in need? It is good to know that there is a course such as fire warden training. The course provide participants with the knowledge, training and practical skills to effectively perform the role and responsibilities of Building Fire Warden.
